Looking for a recommendation for a fast action 6wt blank hopefully below $200. Going to be an SRC/Coho rod.

Also, does anyone know if PacBay makes trim bands for their reel seats? I picked up 5 of their channel lock reel seats and they don't come with the trim bands where the reel seat meets the lower grip (spey handle).

As far as a blank, the Quickline blanks are fast and pretty decent. 6wt should be about $130.

I haven't seen a trim band for the Channel Locks. So I'm going to assume they don't...since they don't have one in the catalog either.

The Pac Bay Quickline and Rainshadow Eternity 2 are both great values for performance.

I have a 9 wt QL and a 5 wt e2 and I'm very impressed with both.

As a side note...those Channel Lock seats are pretty large for a 6 wt seat.

Thanks for the blank info! I'll look into them.

I bought the channel locks for some spey rods I am building. They were on closeout on mudhole for $2.99 each so I snapped a few of them up.
