I fished a wetside lake on Wedn. Conditions were balmy, barely any breeze. Too calm. I had two or three subtle, tentative takes that I missed, and finally got the skunk off with a weak 12" stocker that made my med action 8' 4wt feel like overkill. Still, it was a nice, peaceful day on the lake, with only one other boat out, and a good day to test my Torqeedo Ultralight electric outboard's performance. It passed with flying colors! It moved my 12' plastic fishing kayak (Native Watercraft Ultimate 12) at top speeds of between 8.2 and 8.4 kph when I wanted to zip over to another spot on the lake.
