I am looking to book a solo trip to Alaska in late June. This will be my second trip to Alaska but it would be safe to consider me a newb to the region. I'm hoping for some recommendations to start inquiries.

Here are my search parameters:
Dates: late June, maybe squeaking into early July.
Budget: would like to keep under $4,000 (excluding airfare)
Species: ideal is a mix of big rainbows, sockeye, maybe kings
Inclusives: meals, lodging, local transportation, daily boat use
Guides: would be helpful but I don't need my hand held.

Two places I've identified myself are Nulik Lodge and Blue Fly Bed & Breakfast.

Thanks for any suggestions.

No, no experience with them, but been on the Kanektok 4 times.

Last week of June to the 3rd of July is when we fished it, gave us chances for lots of kings, sockeye run just starting, and rainbows whenever you got tired of salmon.

Not bad for silvers in August either, though it can be pretty windy at times then.

More mosquitos than I've ever seen, so plan for that if you go in June or July.

Thanks for the recommendation Bob. My partner Kate and I operate a small guide business based out of King Salmon on the Naknek River. I would love to share more info about our business and why I think we may be a good fit for you. My email is [email protected] . I may also be able to recommend locations throughout western or SW AK that may work besides my location.

I strongly support the referral of Bob Triggs. Justin Crump and Kate Taylor have a fabulous program out of King Salmon on the Naknek, Nushagak and all surrounding waters. 5 star service, 10/10 fishing at a 3 star price. Great instruction and guidance, top notch equipment and boats, high level of professionalism and concern for your safety. Passionate about their jobs and the resource that supports their business. Next year will be our third year. Looking forward to another flawless year.
