Anyone used/fondled this reel? I saw Albright was selling it at a deep discount, but I don't need another piece of garbage no matter how cheap... It looks alright and I would be looking at a 3/4 wt so it wouldn't be dealing with drag melting runs. Any input would be great! Merry almost Christmas!

I got one when I bought a 5 wt A5 rod, so I would get free shipping and a free 2nd 2-piece rod for a 10 year old. (put me over 150$ on the order) - I haven't put a line on it yet, but it feels like it might work. I'll probably use it for the 10 year olds rod.

I have one in 7/8, like it fine. Nothing big yet, a 5lb and drag was fine. Liked it so well, just got another. For the price, no more switching reels between roods.

Hmmm, a reel with an msrp of $250 is now on sale for $35?

That tells me a lot about the market's cool response to a cheaply-made cast reel with an absurdly high price as well as the incredible markups behind all fly gear. Seems like it's probably worth what they're now asking for it. I feel sorry for those few early adopters who paid full price for one.
