Good article despite the overwrought romanticism. However, I do agree with his opinions and conclusions.

Yes, the romanticism... I include this and write in this style since nobody else does and it is in my nature. So much a diversion and romantic love that I feel for these rods. so much of the past articles. Overwrought? You would have to cast them with me. But I expect you would love these rods! Have a scotch. Romanticism is missing these days my friend. I revel in the romanticism and the casting ability. That has been forgotten....

Wow! That's a long article and so it needed a really big glass of Scotch. What was it about again?
Drinking scotch and casting an enigma of a rod.......wonderful! A casting lesson without the lesson, and a read which will require a little of thought. a comparison of long lines and rods!
