Another great day fly fishing for coho salmon. No one around. No crowds. All alone. I must have landed 8 salmon! The limit is two. I released one about 10 pounds that was a native plus another. I also landed a nice sized chum salmon. The hot fly for me today was what I call the "Kilowatt Red". It was killer. Another great day in paradise for this old guy. Fish were staging in about 3-5 feet of water is all.

You're killing me Larry! I'm stuck working and the coho actions are so so far away.
Do you have to watch the tide current with the pontoon? How hard is it to row around the sound? Tempted to bring my frameless pontoon next time.

No problem in the inner sound where the estuaries are. No heavy currents. Private beaches, so hard to get access without wading a long distance from public access. Most people don't seem concerned about wading fly fisherman off their beaches.

You are my hero. I went out yesterday and saw a few silvers. I did find a new SRC spot, which is always good. Job well done.
