I have a buddy who is looking into getting Creek Companies ODC sport Pontoon boat out of cabelas for 199.99
Anyone out there have any opinions on this particular vessel? Something better for around the same price?

My only thought is make sure the boat matches up to where he wants to use it. I didn't see the sport pontoon but the ODC816 looks decent

Well if I was going to get a pontoon boat for smaller type rivers I would get that one. The pontoons are 8' long. Too bad you live so far south. If you were up in the Everett area you could go to Jerry's surplus and see the blown up one that is hanging on the wall.What you need to do is go to the Creek Co web page and look up any dealers close to you and see if they have one put together. Really a nice looking pontoon boat.. The one in Everett is $235.00 I think. Give or take a few bucks.
