In a month or so I will be staying a few days in Plain WA near Leavenworth. I have fished Fish Lake and don’t like it much. Bad algae bloom and we get blown off the lake more often than not. I have fished the Icicle River and the White River, fun but the fish have been very small and few. We are thinking of fishing the Little Wenatchee River at the west end of Lake Wenatchee, if we can find out how to get to it. Lake Wenatchee is such a beautiful lake, is there any chance we can fly fish the lake?

Well Big Bob, not saying ya didn't catch a Brown trout in Lake Wenatchee, but just maybe you caught a Bull trout, cause there are Bull trout in Lake Wenatchee and you can target them in Lake Wenatchee.
I went out for the sockeye fishing in Lake Wenatchee and I wish I had brought my fly rod because there were trout rising and feeding on a midge hatch all over the lake for about an hour at sun rise
