I'm thinking of taking my pontoon out on Kayak Point on sunday. Banker's hours. High is going to be around 11:00 (I will probably do a 9:00 to 1:00 shift) and it's only supposed to be about a 4 foot change, so rowing should be both safe and easy. Anyone up for it? Or, any other close estuary or beach launch would do if anyone has a greater preference.

Is it open to salmon fishing?
Was trying to work it out from the regs as I had been recommended the spot but it didn't seem to be open.
If it is, I may be keen.
Have heard there are a few pinks up there at the moment.
Drop me a line back.

Hey Dan. I tried to private message and email, but neither worked. I will be targeting cutts. If a pink or silver happens along, well... I would land it and release it promptly taking no pleasure in the act, just as the regs intended.
