Finally had enough luck to collect reference material for this awesome fish! It was one of the more challenging ones that I've painted so far, primarily due to the differences in proportions to a typical "trout shape" that I'm so use to. It also has very cool round scales that are highly visible, unlike trout. Not to mention the ridiculously beautiful dorsal fin which I probably re-painted about a dozen times before I could even come close to doing it justice. Overall, one of my favorites.

I've been fishing too much

Haven't completed anything recently, but I plan on doing a few pieces here shortly. I've gathered a lot of reference material on my last several trips and need to catch back up on the art!
