LOL. Good start to a Monday,
I tossed a few old hats myself this fall. After removing the flies I had stuck in them, I had enough to fill yet another box. I'm not really sure how many of those flies I physically put in my hats as opposed to those that just ended up there as a result of my horrible casting abilities.Dang & I just tossed a ball cap collection when I went on my spring cleaning tear . . .
I can get that same shirt at Kmart or Walmart for under $10.00. Or a thrift shop even cheaper. Then the new Simms Espirito SS shirt is for you. From tropical expeditions to brew heavy patio sessions, this shirt says "hey, I'm know how to be cool cause I have a bad ass shirt along with some cool sunglasses and an awesome trucker hat from some random fly shop in Montana."
And for only $34.98 it is a steal.

But the logo's on the inside of the shirt. Nobody will ever see it unless you undress.
I don't recall ever paying $35 for a shirt. They are either on big sale, close-out or from Goodwill, Dessert Industries, etc. Retail prices for a good many things are ridiculous and most clothing attire is at the top of that list. $20 for a shirt would be a splurge for me. I'm satisfied just watching fashionable othersThen the new Simms Espirito SS shirt is for you. Why does every Goodwill store in the country have that same awful smell? It is the worst.I don't recall ever paying $35 for a shirt. They are either on big sale, close-out or from Goodwill, Dessert Industries, etc.
I think I'm starting to shift my thinking on sleeves. In the past, I was right there with you. And on the water, I'm all about the sleeves.Nah, I'm a long sleeve guy.
You should, in fact if you look at the shirt Rop posted, and look at the other images, it appears to be the ideal shirt for changing tires and also for rolling tires on the ground with your hands. My old tire changing/ tire rolling shirt is getting worn out.Why does every Goodwill store in the country have that same awful smell? It is the worst.

But bumming around town or during my brew heavy patio sessions short sleeves is where it's at. Long sleeve fishing shirts after 5 pm screams "I'm trying way too hard" or "hey look at me I fish." It is like seeing that guide in Ennis pull up to the gas station at 6 pm after a day of fishing to fill up his $60,000 rig and still wearing his buff. We get it douchebag.
But it is fair to debate the shirt selection in the OP. I actually have my eye on that shirt Rob Allen posted and will probably be adding a couple to my cart at some point today.
When I met up with @dustinchromers back in Feb, we had to get under the hood of his rig in the first 10 minutes of meeting up. I was a fish out of water. It was so dirty I was like yeah no thanks. You should, in fact if you look at the shirt Rop posted, and look at the other images, it appears to be the ideal shirt for changing tires and also for rolling tires on the ground with your hands. I was just trying to let you know that you weren't in Kansas anymore and that anything could happen on this turf, so be prepared. When I met up with @dustinchromers back in Feb, we had to get under the hood of his rig in the first 10 minutes of meeting up. I need to start guiding! Why does every Goodwill store in the country have that same awful smell? It is the worst.

Yeah for my next trip over, I'm going to purchase a pair of real working man pants and dump a little oil on one of my shirts. Then folks will be commenting how Swimmy sure is one of "us."I was just trying to let you know that you weren't in Kansas anymore and that anything could happen on this turf, so be prepared.
Well they do get all the chicks.I need to start guiding!
