My friend George Deagle is offering a 5-day rod making class at his home on Quadra Island, British Columbia. This is a great way to make your first rod, before investing in all the tools and supplies, and will give you a head start if you want to make your own.

George and his wife Sarah are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They were the co-chairs for the Corbett Rod Makers gathering in 2014 and 2016.

You couldn't ask for better hosts. The price is very fair and the location is great. Five consecutive days of undivided attention with only two students per class. Anyone serious about taking a bamboo rod making classes should really look into this.
