To fish or not to fish? What a stupid question.

Heading to Bend next weekend. I’ve never fished there. Two day golf tournament Tuesday and Wednesday but Monday and Thursday, as well as golf day afternoon’s are open. Anybody have walk and wade suggestions? Could bring a float tube and fins if that would help.
I will enquire at local shop but thought some here might be able to help with prep.
Thank you for any advice.

The Crooked River below Bowman dam, lots of walk and wade areas. The Fall River near Sunriver at the fish hatchery… I spent a week in Sunriver recently and had a lot of success at both spots. The Crooked is about 45 min from Bend.

Near Bend, the Century Drive arcs west from Route 97 and back to it, passing a number of beautiful and productive trout lakes. Gawk at the snowy volcanoes as you cast or troll.

This is exactly what Bend Fly Shop told me a few summers ago. Good spots.
