Oh, I'll hate myself in the morning. Jim Creek, standard dries. Pilchuck, same flies(but look out for thieves). Miller river, Beckler River, Rapid River, Foss River, Money Creek. Same flies. Also the Tye River

These are all on many maps. What rock you need to stand on is what you need to find out by yourself.

It must be the season where everybody is too damn lazy to go look for themselves.

If I was still in Washington I would have hit all of the above. The fish ain't monsters but they are fish.

Those are not secret places. The rock to stand on is the secret.

What gets me is that the easiest places to find are close to the road. But you have to know what road and what skinny water.

If I was back there now I would have many places to fish. In a 60 mile radius I could probably dig up about 10 or more different skinny waters. Where I now live there are only a few different rivers to fish. The Beaverhead, the Big Hole are the closest to me. But this is only two places. In a 60 mile radius here I can only come up with three creeks and two rivers.

Where I like to fish is almost 70 miles from home. The upper Ruby gets my vote.

You've also got Bloody Dick Creek, the Wise River, Poindexter Slough and Grasshopper Creek within a 60 mile radius of Dillon.
I know all this but access on lower Grasshopper is limited. And the slough is loaded with Mosquitoes. I tried the Wise River and came up empty. There is also a creek out of Melrose but the name escapes me for the moment.

I'd get out but I'm being lazy for the moment.

Nice slight of hand Calvin!

He is just trying to redirect everyone from the local spots here and have them focus on your waters OMJ:clown: ...
