I'm looking to get a new 10wt and want something other than a loomis/sage/scott (have those). Beulah are not big on the east coast and the one shop in my area doesn't have the 10wt. Anybody cast this rod and can give some insight how it loads and feels? Does it compare to any other rod?

I have cast 10/11 bluewater and it is awesome, really powerful and the also it is one the the beulah reps favorites among all their rods. cant be beat for the price.

Can't beat it for the $. The 10/11 Bluewater is my go to Baja Rooster/Dorado rod. It has plenty of backbone, and doesn't cast like a "broomstick".

I have the guide series 10 weight and it rocks. It's pretty fast with a fairly even action to the tip as I recall - it's been too long since I have fished it!
