You killed 4 (5?) coho?!??!? Aren't those on the endangered species list? I know you are in Alaska but that still dont seem cool. I guess those are all hatchery, still odd to see that many coho killed.
? I hope that is a joke.....I would guess they are wild fish...nothing wrong with killing wild fish if there are lots of them. How many Pinks got bonked by people on this board last year?

Coho are ESA listed in some Washington waters, and most waters in Oregon I believe. But not Alaska where millions of wild native Coho are bonked every year.

Limit is 6 per day in saltwater. Also they are mostly hatchery fish.

Killed a few more today...

Nope, no Joke, they are off limits in California, Oregon, and Washington. Of course wild stealhead are ok to kill in some rivers in Washington, but I would guess this has a 1/1000 relevancy. Still strikes a nerve that they are endangered all up and down the pacific but you can kill 6 in Alaska. Not a comment on monkey, and probably more of a comment on my ignorance, but it still strikes a nerve.

why would killing hatchery fish ANYWHERE strike a nerve? they don't belong on spawning beds. get them the hell out, and on the grill.
