That there is a pretty fine reel. Tibor should have the parts and anything less than $300 for them would be a steal. You could send it to them and have it fixed. You'd have a fine reel, recently upgraded, that would last a lifetime.

Unfortunately they quoted me quite a bit more than that to get the reel back up and running, but that was also including a new spool, which I have since acquired. Was trying to see if anyone, maybe someone who had gone through the AR to DD conversion, might have parts - mainly the handle arm, handle nut and drag spring, so I could try to whittle the cost down as much as possible. Do you know if they will even sell the parts without sending it in? Just want to get this reel up and running as cheaply as possible, but I am in no hurry.

Don't know but if you have a spool, the process should be far less expensive. There are new reels out there but they start around $450 so having them put your reel back together correctly would seem to me to be a no brainer. I have a DD Tarpon and a DD Bonefish and they have been rehabbed by Tibor. They're still in great shape and work fine. It's well worth the money to have a quality reel.
