Hope everyone is safe, saw a aluminum boat heading up on my way to work.
Dam, any details on where how. With the low/high presher wind ripping through Gold Bar things can get ugly quick. Be carfull out there folks!!

I don't like wearing it, but I'm never without my CO2 PFD when I'm on the river and this is why. RIP.
I can't find any news sources reporting this. Can this be verified?
The link leads to an article on death with dignity. However interesting that is to me it has no info on a boating accident.

I also looked it up in the Herald. That was the only paper that had it. I tried the two Seattle papers but no go. It told about the boat going down and one missing and found about a 1\2 hour later. I assumed that he drowned. No names were mentioned.

Hit menu top left and go into local news, takes some scrolling.
Friends fished the Klickitat Saturday. Apparently a boat went down. All I know.

Yes, a boat went down Sat. am but no one was injured. That spot with the root wads and trees below Stinson finally did what many believed it would do. Boat still in the river, pinned to a root wad in very fast water.

Klickrolf, is the line still open thru that log jam or is the boat blocking it?
Haven't seen it personally but believe the boat is completely submerged, pinned on the middle root wad. The central channel should not be used, too tight and too fast, take either side channel and you should be fine.

Edit: The pinned boat is fiberglass, not aluminum.
Thanks. Glad to hear they got out. Friend saw only one (aluminum) boat floating the river, and figured it must be them. Had emergency vehicles and a couple police cars pass by them pretty fast. I've never fished the Klickitat, but would like to.
