yep , its a classic Bogdan , they have skyrocket in price as the company is out of business last I heard. great reels, hand made ,killer drag.

Just curious how you came into possession of this reel without knowing much about it. Their value is well known. They are very sought after reels that tend to be available for very short windows of time. Typically buyers are well acquainted with them before purchasing.

Very nice reels. I particularly like the Model 50 because it has the powerful, adjustable drag but is single action (versus 2:1 multiplier). The trout and steelhead models are also single action but have a fixed drag. The other models with the adjustable drag are all multipliers (with the exception of some special orders).
