Is anyone out there familiar with this lake just north of Rock Lake in eastern Washington? I have received conflicting reports of whether or not there are any trout in here. I have fished it twice this winter and have had no luck for trout, although it seems like they would be able to access it from either rock lake or chapman. It is listed as containing most of the common warmwater species on the washington lakes site.

Yes there are trout here....granted the bass outnumber them drastically, but yes trout do exist, atleast last year they did???? They were fairly difficult to catch though...but the bass were fairly easy....go figure :rolleyes

How was the channel into Bonnie this winter?? I would have guessed it was frozen??

The channel never did freeze this winter, at least from what I saw.

Were the trout you caught browns, and did the bass respond well to flies?

Nothing...they fight like crazy :thumb :thumb ...flies are a bit more challenge but doable
