Size 32 I didn't know they made hooks that small. Smallest I tie is 16 or occassionally a size 20. Good job. Tippet must be a 6x or 7x. I hope you don't get anything bigger than 15 inch trout, they'll break off. :)

I obtained some Varivas 9X and 10X tippet a couple of years ago that tests abut 1 lb. I've been using that with the 32 tied to a #18...you didn't think an old man could possibly see that small a fly more than three feet away did you? The largest trout I've landed on one is a 17" brown. I did hook one 26" that I caught two days later on a #6 leech that still had the fly in it's mouth, proving to me that big fish will eat small flies. I don't fish them often though, only when on very smooth waters with a lot of fish rising to smaller midges.

beautiful but I would loose them before I could get the tippet trough the eye. I would really like to be able to fish and tye them too.
