Bozeman Sc/Spey Co/Hardy Cascapedis?

Looking to buy one of these for my 4/5 weight trout rod. You guys have any experience with these reels? Thanks

In addition to the Speyco reel I mentioned in your Speyco thread I also had a Cascapedia MKII 4/5. It is another well made reel. Like any well made reel it will last a lifetime or two if you take care of it. It is lighter weight than the Speyco of similar size.

I'd urge you to search spey pages about those reels. Might be surprised at how shitty some of them are compared to one another.
Unless you are talking about solid-built bamboo fly rods, those reels are way too heavy for trout rods, IMHO. I even think they're heavy for cane, and I fish a ton of it.

Agreed. That's why I no longer have either of those reels.
