Cast and Blast

I started early this year. I don't usually start chasing coyotes till October, but a local rancher has a pile of them he wants to be rid of.

So, after my week long trip of Yellowstone National Park with the family, I needed a little more outdoor action when I got home to make the cast and blast complete! By the way....it was hard to leave Montana, after fishing the Yellowstone, Rock creek, Flint creek, and the Madisson!

Here is the cast, a nice Yellowstone cutthroat

I had talked to the rancher a day after I got home about the coyotes he didn't want. I waited a day and went out to help him out. I ended up calling in 12 total in 4 stands. I ended up taking 5 of the 12. I got my first triple :) I couldn't find one in the tall cheat grass, and parted the hair on the back of one at 600 yards :) the rancher was very pleased, and I had a good time myself!
Here is the blast

Yes sir. It's a McMillan game scout, with bottom metal. It would make a nice addition to your 260 if you go that route.

Have you tried the new ELDM 140's? They are absolutely amazing!
