Next week I'm off for Spring Break and I'm thinking of heading down to Central Oregon, Bend area to flyfish. I'm familiar with the Crooked, the Metolius and the Deschutes, but what I'm really looking for is some good lakes that might be fishing well throught the first couple of weeks in April. If you know of any, or if you know of any great resources, let me know.
And since this is a Washington forum Lenore has fished hot the last couple of weekends but the fish will soon be hitting their spawn hard. Were any of you over there the last couple of weekends? I fished the Northend, both times out of a blue pontoon boats with two different women. I was the one catching all the fish.
Rocky Ford has also been great for those folks throwing eggs in the lower section, but if your not into that, the upper section has fished awesome with scuds. But only if your patient enough to fish them properly.
