Cheap & Easy Pickled Onions

Thought I'd share this.
I'm a glutton for anything pickled.
A buddy turned me on to this for cheap and easy pickled onions.
You'll need to eat some pickles first, which in my case isn't difficult at all.

Once you've eaten all the pickles, slice up some sweet onions and put them in the left over pickle juice. Wait four days or so and they are ready to eat. You can do this with dills, sweet etc.
I put them on burgers, dogs, sandwiches etc plus just eat them as they are.
Enjoy,

Hmmm and I just happen to have a big jar of cucumber chips that is about empty . . .

Thanks for the tip!

I did not realize you turned into a wheat protein when you encountered a pickled food. How does this occur?
