I and three others went out to a little Columbia Basin spring creek this last week for Browns and Tiger trout. My purpose was to walk to the spring creek's source fishing all the while. Supposedly, the fishing wasn't as good this week as last week, and even that wasn't all that great, but we did manage a few photos and a little tiger trout.

This is a great spot because I am actually standing in a major source of the spring. This source fell into a beautiful pool of appx 4 feet deep. We could not detect any trace of a trout.

Here's the little devil himself. This was taken by Daddy-O on a size 20 beadhead chironomid and drifted through a little rapid similar to the picture above. Because of the angle, this photo does not show the vermiculation spots very well on its back. However, a cool fish in a nice setting.
