The only reason I'm selling is because I'm getting into a different hobby!

For now I'd like to sell the whole package;

Pieroway 600 Metal Detector - 8/9wt 12'10".
(If you're not familiar with Pieroway, they're a Canadian company and the rods were designed by Brian Niska. The rod casts beautifully and effortlessly, can blast tons of line out if you need to, and has soul when fighting a fish.)

80's - Made in England, Hardy Salmon 2 - grey faced(uncommon) with brass foot, plus a Hardy blue case.

The reel has backing, slickshooter 44 lbs and 575 gr Rio Skagit Max.

Comes with Type 3 and 6 tips, T-14. Skagit MOW Tips; iMOW 5ft Int/5ft T-14, MOW Heavy 5ft floating/5ft T-17 and MOW Heavy 2.5ft Floating w/7.5ft T-17

The rod, lines and Type 3 and 6, T-14 have been used less than 10 times, so they're in excellent condition. The MOW tips have never been used. The reel is used with rim rash, but functions beautifully and sounds awesome!

I can also throw in some Maxima leader and flies.

Perfect setup to go fishing, you'll have EVERYTHING you'll need to get out there!

To buy this setup new, you're looking at $938 USD and that's not including the reel!

I like the pun! Young family, not much time for fishing, kids not interested in fishing. 11 yr old loves MTBing, so it's an easy decision for me. Getting way more enjoyment bike with him.
