hey i never been to Cranberry lake and was wonder hows the fishing there, what flies to use and anything about the lake in general. thanks

There are Rainbows in there too. If your able to scout the shoreline early in the mornings you will sometimes see them feeding in pretty good numbers. I was camped there a few years ago and happened to be walking between the lake and the Sound, and noticed a bunch of fish feeding in the swimming area. I rushed back to our camp site and got my fly rod and caught about 12 1/2# to 2# rainbows on a small black mosquito type fly fished wet. Kept three of 'em for breakfast. yummmmm!
There are lot's of crawdads/crayfish whatever, in that lake too.
