I told the family I had enough stuff so they shouldn't add to the pile with Xmas gifts for me but I still found this under the tree from my part-time fishing partner and full-time daughter. Her version of my favorite fish, the stream resident Coastal Cutthroat done in gouache (whatever that is...).

I was very happy needless to say...

Awesome. My girls always give me little art works. I'm always appreciative. Maybe they will become as accomplished as your daughter.

Thanks guys. I've already 'commissioned' the sea-run form too... I'm actually thinking of getting her to do a couple small drawings of flies and getting them framed together n a shadow box sort of arrangement.

She's pretty good - she was a regional winner for the Puget Sound district in lat year's high school art competition as a freshman and had a piece of her work exhibited in the capital over the Summer. Don't know where she gets it from, I can't draw a stick man...
