First off, my sincere condolences on your loss. Try the Tucannon Lakes with a light fly rod . . . lots of fish that should do well to occupy your mind.
Death in family redirects fishing plans
So my grandma of 100 years old past away this week. 
I was gonna spend 3 days on the Methow, but now will be in Walla Walla for one of the largest funerals the town have ever seen. I am going to spend an extra day to search for some fish in the area. Thinking about the Touchet, but not sure yet. The regs really confuse me but from what I can understand there is no water open to take the 3 or 5 weight for, which is what I would rather do. So I will take the steelhead setup and see what I can find. Am I on the wrong track? Does anyone know of any water open in the area for trout? Thanks for any suggestions in advance!!
