Eighty-six today and near 90 degrees tomorrow. What was one of the coolest and wettest springs we have had in a while seems to have come to an abrupt end. Cooler on Wednesday and back up to mid to upper 80's for as far as the 10-day prediction will go. The one lake that has been doing well for me was up to 61 in the morning and probably much warmer by 5p.m. This quick change in weather patterns accompanied by not being able to get into three lakes because of closed roads has greatly curtailed fishing possibilities this spring. Fingers crossed for an early fall.

Sure wish lakes would open sooner as mentioned on another thread to increase fishing possibilities. How about all trout lakes at March 1 opening, closed during July and August, and back to fishing September through November?
