Dodge Aisin Transmission

Sort of fishing related as our cars and trucks are how most get to/from fishing. I'm in the market for a new truck - upgrading from my 2006 2500 CTD. Does anyone on the forum own a Dodge 3500 with the Aisin/High Output Cummins package? My understanding is that this combination was first offered in 2014 and the HO Cummins is standard with the Aisin; which only came on the 3500 truck. From what I've read, the Aisin rivals the Allison in performance and reliability. I'm hoping to hear from some who own one... particularly if you've owned earlier Dodge CTD.

Don't have it
As a Case dealer my SIL gets big discounts on Dodge trucks because FAC (Fiat) owns them both; he said their fleet of Dodge trucks w/Aisin are 2012 with up to 150K trouble free miles on transmissions. These are salesmen's and parts trucks, not used for towing. Not sure if it's the same as the 3500, probably not. FWIW he says the body/hardware integrity is pretty poor.

And here I thought Seattle was the nations mecca for Jay Buhner, Dodge Cummins, monster truck aficionados :D. More reading on the Aisin suggests this will likely become the standard platform on the 2500 and heavier payload series trucks as it is only at about 60% of its torque capacity even with the high output 6.7L engine. This will give Dodge plenty of ceiling space in the on-going horsepower/torque wars.
I have a 2013 and upgraded from a 2005 G56 manual. I don't have the Aisin, however the Dodge RE68 (I think thats the one ) has proven so far to very good. It searches to much so I keep it in Tow/haul but pleased so far.
