I've seen a few aluminum boats that were powder coated. They look great until you hit some rocks or flex the hall in any way, it will crack and chip tell it all falls apart. But they do look greatCheck around and see what it would cost to get it powder coated, it is probably a lot cheaper than you think.

Hammerite for trailer paint.
So this project has taken longer than I planned. Where do you guys find Hammerite?I second the black shiny Hammerite for the trailer. I painted part of my trailer with Hammerite and part with rust oleum, the Hammerite still looks good the rust oleum looks like shit.

Just re-read that post. Hopefully I have better luck. Ace would only order Hammerite four gallons at a time. Should have asked to see if anybody wanted in on a bulk order.the Hammerite still looks good the rust oleum looks like shit.
Are you talking about for the floor boards?Where I work they use a type of marine plywood that is sanwhiched on both sides with a textured aluminum skin, the stuff is bullet proof ! I bet it's spendy but dam it's tough as all hell
