unfortunately, i do not tie.
i am looking for a fly shop, either local or on-line that sells a good euphausiid fly pattern.

my google searches for a solution are thin.

from what i've seen, the profiles of available/comparable flies appear larger & don't seem to match up very well
to a sample i saw recently ( thanks Don) or
to web pics of the real euphausiids.( in WFF -WIKIPEDIA and others)

thanks for your help

Peninsula Outfitters has a few euphasid patterns too, as well as a nice salt water selection. Bill spends a lot of his time on the salt water all around Kitsap County. A quick call to them might be worth your time. The contact information can be found in the content section under Washington Fly Shops, or your favorite web browser. Best of luck.

just wanted to mention an example of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE from PUGET SOUND FLY COMPANY...
when i called to check on their inventory of euphausid patterns...i spoke w Anil (sp?)

he said they were out, but offered to tie some additional if i needed them same day...
truly exceptional
he also offered other options...but the offer to tie was above and beyond

Thank You Puget Sound Fly Company ...Cheers to you !!
