These were my sons and he just outgrew them. I thought about cutting off his toes also.

Most likely someone who wheres a 8. Even if I'm wrong it would allow more room for warmer feet.

Those boots fit better wearing a size bigger than your regular shoe size. That's what I found anyway.

I agree. At least 1 to 2 sizes larger depending on whether you plan to wear neoprene waders at any time.
