The Yakima River Headwaters TU Chapter is hosting the F3T (Fly Fishing Film Tour) this Spring to support the continued conservation work being done to protect, reconnect, restore, and sustain the Yakima River. Here's a link for a preview to this year's event - http://flyfilmtour.com/
The Chapter focuses on habitat restoration and species-specific conservation projects in the headwaters, primarily the Teanaway River. As part of a 10-year comprehensive plan, the Chapter is fundraising to support two internships in 2017, and a threefold approach engaging the community in Angler Science initiatives, Youth Education & Outreach, and conservation of the Westslope Cutthroat populations.
The Fundraising Committee is planning now and this event is the launch of our "Headwaters Matter" campaign and the headwatersmatter.org website.
To support the Chapters work, please watch for the official announcement for ticket sales and event information.
Thank you,
Derek Young
President, YHRTU 090
