Joe Pombrio and I floated from Ringer to the Slab yesterday, and for the first time, I think the flies are beginning to be at the right depth. We hit some decent fish, and recovered a Big Bobber cooler with some cheap, lukewarm beer in it. View attachment 32882 View attachment 32883

That cooler is both the goofiest and coolest thing I've seen in awhile. You don't expect to open that bad boy and find craft brews.

There's almost nothing better than finding free beer on the river. The most efficient thing to do is consume the contents to save on weight, of course. Nice fish too!

Very nice fish and report. Ringer to the Slab.......even with flows at 4,000 a 15+ mile float is a full day of fishing!

I found some beer in the Miller river once. It was about 8 cans I think. On a hot day it almost got me drunk. I know I got a buzz off of it.
