Looked to me right at the end of the video the rock shampoo was going to be administered, so likely a hatchery fish getting dispatched for the dinner table.

I've never understood the need to walk a fish (of any size) out of the water. Nice stoke but it's possible to land a fish in knee-deep water.
Don't get it either, he freakin damn near ran with that fish in the net what looked like 50yds up into the rocks. Weird.
It is definitely a hatchery. Wouldn't even use a the net if it was a native.

What's that white thingy on your leader? Wait, you mean you give high fives for bobber doggin'? That's a low bar man, low bar. Like giving high fives for passing gas.

Sg
Bobber Dogging is a a combo of float and drift fishing - the float pulls a weight which is dragging bottom with a yarnie/bait behind it.

I enjoy catching Steelhead much more than passing gas.

Well...when yer meat fishin' it's a pretty handy tactic. Fish can't swim backwards so every wiggle they make is geared towards forward locomotion. Keep their head pointed towards the bank and they will literally swim right out of the water and up onto the bank and beyond...

So that's bobber doggin'. Something steelhead fly fishing guides might do to make their clients think they are fly fishing.

Truth in advertising is a good thing, how can that be fly fishing?
Never done it. Never seen it done with a fly rod.

What is the purpose of wilderness made? Do you guys hope to make money from it? Is it a club? What?
Not hoping for any money. I'd just like to get more into filming fishing/hunting.
.

your website says "steelhead up to 55 pounds"??? huh??? : O

"We live off the grid in a custom built house truck. The truck runs on waste vegetable oil and is powered by solar." This is cool sounding!
You're right.. should read ~45.

The truck is awesome I'll be writing up some posts on it in the future.

The very definition of "special interest group".
