I am looking for a HB Fishin' Buddy 120, 130 or 140c. If you have one you are willing to let go I would greatly appreciate having the opportunity to take it off your hands.

Thanks in advance

I have two, I'll let you have one for $350.

Good luck finding a willing seller.
Ira, In all honesty. If your not a willing seller there is no need to post to this thread. Like with all things, surplus or lack of use exists, and for those looking to turn something they don't need or use into cash.

If your looking to boast, please do it somewhere away from me. I appreciate your time.

FEFEA! Really?

Please feel free to elaborate on peacemaking, and your harmonious life path decision making skills with replies like the quote above.

Hey Ira, didn't I sell you that 'spare' for $ 80 bucks 3 years ago? Maybe it was someone else, but good for you......maybe put it up on an auction site! The new ones are shit, the old ones are worth anything a 'willing' seller wants for it!

I'm a willing seller and I posted a price. Are you interested? When I found out that they were no longer going to make them I checked Craigslist and found another one as a back up. If you really are looking, than I will sell mine for the price I listed. If you are not interested, than there is no need to further respond to my offer. I also mentioned good luck to you in your search, because I don't think many people are willing to part with theirs. My posting actually does you a favor, because it keeps the thread bumped up towards the top of the order.

Now do you know what FEFEA means? I mean really know what it means? Do you know the etymology of the term, where it started from, how it developed, its social significance? If not, why do you use it in your response. Considering that I'm the one who originally coined the phrase I imagine you are a bit clueless as to what you are talking about.

Let me know if you want to buy my back up.

Batteries not included.

You might call around to hardware stores, etc. that have sporting good sections. For example I found a backup for myself this spring that way. Then found another in Mt Vernon at Ranch and Home that I told a forum member about. Both units were well under $200

Ace Hardware might be with calling, in towns that don't have big box stores. I have not looked at the Oak Harbor.

Fishin' Buddy is popular with Stillwater fly guys but there are not that many of us.

Jeff, thank you for the conscious and considerate help. The Pale Mtn is a great beverage I'm glad some portion of Rainier brewing is still proudly produced in the Northwest giving our neighbors a job. Your selfless act is well appreciated. I did find a 140c which saved a substantial amount over what other forum contributers consider fair market value. It's nice to know good people don't allow themselves to be defined by some self-absorbed acronym or petulant slogan. Thanks for really doing me a favor.

$350 was fair market value for my extra 120, I'm not sure what your issue is. For me I wouldn't sell it for less and if you found yourself struggling to find one from other sellers than I would have sold you mine for the price I listed. I think you could have cleared all this up by listing a price range in your original post. It is hard for me to believe that there are adults who are offended by things like offering up a product for a price greater than what they believe it should be sold. I know there are adults who are offended by things like that, which you proved, but it is just hard for me to believe.

So what did you do, look up FEFEA on Google and now you think you know what it means to me? If so again, I believe you are clueless. I feel a bit sorry for you as you continue this illusion of understanding. I'm not defined by the acronym (actually more of an initialization). Poor guy.

I'll take it you are not interested in my 120. Anyone else?

I agree, class was lacked on your part, I'm still not sure why though. I had no need to be humbled, but since you still haven't answered my question about FEFEA, I'll assume that you were.

Now that the pressure is off, does a Bottom Line Fishin' Buddy 2201 have much value? I have one with extra gunnel mount bought in 199x that has been used exactly one time, and sits in my garage. Not sure I want to sell.

I also have a 140c with the sidefinder view.

I'll sell it to you for $700 if you want it.
I don't think I like the 140c, from what I've heard, it sucks batteries too quickly and I don't need the color. Now let me know if you find another 120. Mine is worth $350 for me right now.

You should sell it to Ira, as a third stringer, evidently he can't catch fish without one?
