Went out to a super secret spot that nobody else ever fishes..

It started cloudy and cold, but the sun ended up burning through and the night ended up awesome!

My fishing buddy left his glasses at home. He lives about 400 yards from the boat launch. When he came back from getting them I was fighting that big fish 50 feet off the bank in front of the boat launch.

While fighting the fish, I pulled the anchor, started the boat, pulled in to shore, picked him up, pulled away 50', and landed the fish.

Strip hard 16-20" with a pause that randomly changes between 1-4 seconds to allow the booby to swim vertically up.

I begin to count down the same number of seconds as the depth I'm fishing, once the sink tip pulls the fly under water.
