Don't know what part of Seattle you're interested in, but you can check the 'shops' link on the main page under resources.

I frequent Creekside Angling (http://www.creeksideangling.com) in Issaquah and know that they have some classes coming up. I took there intro class four years ago and really enjoyed it! I've also taken there Puget Sound SRC class as well and it was great.

I was also in Kauffman's in Bellevue yesterday and know that they had some classes listed as well. I believe that they also have a shop downtown if that's a better option.

Good luck!
Bill :)

Northwest Woman Fly fishers Club, they meet at REI in Seattle once a month.
Washington Fly Fishing Club, monthly meetings in Seattle.
www.washingtoncouncilfff.org Has a list of state FFF clubs, most clubs have great programs and teaching, events etc.
Most fly shops have teaching and guiding, some have very affordable classes for small groups.

Northwest Fly Anglers Club are having casting classes at this time at Greenlake, I believe they are doing 5 more sessions they are on Tuesday nigths. On May 17th they will be having an club outing to the Yakima river. For the beginners they have a morning discussion (mentoring) about fly fishing and then hit the water in the afternoon. Additional information is at http://www.northwestflyanglers.org/.

Note last night was the club meeting and they announced a date change for the Yakima trip Saturday May 17 is correct.

Also I took a beginning class from Kaufmann downtown when I statred a few years back.
