hiya,
it appears, to this observer at least, that flyshop.com is pretty much finished. posters are bailing left and right. i am one of the rats fresh off the sinking ship. i have lurked here for quite a while but have only posted a handful of times. allow me to introduce myself.
"hiya, i'm trouthole."

as a newly born-again christian man, i hope to offer a postive contribution to this site.

god bless you all,

t

Welcome. I too am a flyshop.com guy. I bought, sold, lurked and posted under the same name. I like the diversity but this is a much better group thus far and more relevant to NW flyfishing. I am also a believer but more seasoned, time wise.

Hey. I too have given up on flyshop. I don't post too often, but even the info is lacking on flyshop. Here's a quick report from the weekend. Went to the Icicle Ck area near Leavenworth. Backpacked into Trout Lk and then the loop back down through Jack Ck. Trout Lk was tough to fish due to brush but contains some nice Bows (max 14"). Jack Ck has lots of beautiful bows (most around 6-8") but I saw some wise 14 inchers in some deep pools. This is a great place to spend the weekend. But, the mosquitos were bad at Trout Lk. Yellow Stimualtor (#12) worked best.

Welcome. I bailed off of flyshop too about eight months ago; too many disagreements over the same 1-2 issues that seemed to go nowhere. This board to date has been 100% better, thankfully.

Finspot in the house

Finspot,

I've have noticed the surge of creative people joining Westfly and WAFF in the last few months.I think between both sites everyone in this region will benifit from the "Local" flavor not found at VFS..
