I thought I would share a fish I recently pulled out of my favorite local selective gear fishery (if you search my other posts or read Mumbles' recent lake exploits you know the one). It was a rather windy day, so I took out my pram to give it a test run. No surface activity, so I decided to troll with the rod in the holder. Picked up a fair number of 12-15" fish trolling an olive willy on an intermediate line. Decided to call it a day, was heading back to the dock from the far end and zzzzzzzz goes the drag. I grabbed the rod from the holder, and could feel a heavy fish on. Several minutes later I had this 22" slab to hand. Nice way to end the day.
