I found a rod tip in the Cedar River this morning.

I lost a tip last year in the cedar. It was black section to a 5 wt. I don't think it would have made it an entire year but who knows.

It is a black tip. What color is the wrap? Sorry, I missed your reply earlier.

It was a Sage One. All black with 2 small gold/silver bands at the connecting end. I did lose it a year ago, where did u find it.

This is a dark grey blank with all black wrap. There is a silver band at the connecting end. There are no alignment dots, from what I can tell. I found it near the community center by the library. It was sitting in 3" of water that was barely moving and wouldn't have had current since we had the high flows when the river first opened for fishing.

Doesn't sound like mine. It has 2 bands. I lost mine about Cedar Grove Rd. Thanks for the response.
