Thanks for the info. I'll give it a whirl. Clousers and leachs. Any other suggestions? I have access to a boat that is moored on lake union, any suggestions where to take it? I'm mainly thinking east of the locks.

Hey there folks,
I'm new to the forum. Been living in AK but am down here visiting for a while.
Yesterday I was on a friends boat and we motored from Lake union to ballard and back. While we were in the Freemont canal (not sure if thats its name or not) I noticed a fair amount of people spin casting, looked like they had spinners and spoons. Any Ideas what they were chucking hardware for? Also, could I fly fish this section from a boat?
