Sounds about right. I saw a few guys doing that a couple weeks ago on the Fremont side. Looked like pretty light tackle.

I'm new to the forum. Been living in AK but am down here visiting for a while.
Yesterday I was on a friends boat and we motored from Lake union to ballard and back. While we were in the Freemont canal (not sure if thats its name or not) I noticed a fair amount of people spin casting, looked like they had spinners and spoons. Any Ideas what they were chucking hardware for? Also, could I fly fish this section from a boat?
