New in box 7wt intermediate outbound. I would love to trade it for a 6wt 40+ or outbound intermediate, doesn't have to be new.

What are you casting this with? I used a 6wt Outbound F/I for a couple of seasons, and I still have it. I switched it to a 7wt (Short) for my Xi2 and it's much better. Have you tried it yet? What are you casting it on? I think my 6wt is kind of beat, or i"d offer to swap.

I plan to line up a 9'6" 6wt Sage VT2. Its not a rocket fast rod and I'm told a 6wt outbound/40+ will be all I need. Thanks, Josh

Man, I would at least use/try the line you have. I think you will find it a great match for your VT2, particularly in the 9'6" version. The line/rod combo will cast super easily . . .
