Did you realize that article is from 1997. Those fish were planned to have been released in the spring of 1998. So if they came back between 2 and 4 years (not sure how long most silvers stay in the salt), then that would be the big 4yr fish (if the even stay out 4 yrs) would not show this year on that river. But it seems that the tribes have 2 hatcheries that put out a lot of fish, so I really doubt anyone would notice much of a difference this year.

But I really don't know this river so maybe you can fill us in on what your point was when you posted this... :DUNNO
