I'm not above watching Hawg Quest. Pretty cool show. I don't know where that episode was filmed. I don't think it's a zipper. You could try emailing them.
nobody said anything about being above anything. its a gear fishing intensive show...i just assume not many fly fishermen sitting around watching gear fisherman catch fish.

Settle down Opeth, no need to get your panties in a bunch.

Good point PT they likely get their stuff for free. Now for the elitist doctors, lawyers and Indian chiefs running their 20 foot sleds on the Skagit......

Friday is truck day,

When the favorite food is italian sausage with onions and peppers, it ain't high brow.

Of course with Fenway prices these days, it's getting tough to attend a game. Sox play 7 at Safeco this year. I'll be at a few of them.

Hey High Brow, not into watching gear fishermen either, but a Sox game, maybe. Which ones? Sometimes a fishing show, even a gear show, is better than another Friends episode that she's watched a hundred times.

Mumbles,

I actually watch hawg quest whenever it's on.

Sox play in July and Sept. I believe. If you want to meet up, let's do that. Pyramid brewery and the Sox make for one hell of a day. Plus with the Sox starting pitching, every day is a good day.

I usually bring the whole family. How old are your kids?

Go Sox,

I met my wife at a sox game in Fenway. Got rained out in the 5th, traded our rain stubs for two sausages from the cart outside, and proceeded to get hammered at the Cask n' Flagon

Hawg Quest, North to Alaska, The best and worst of Tred Barta all work for me. Stuff like Bill Dance and his pay to play bASS lakes, and if I hear Roland Martins "whoa son" one more time I'll puke.

If you watched the show Sunday and I did, they did use a fly rod briefly. The portly sidekick that is sometimes with Glenn Hall is a supreme spey caster and I have watched several episodes where he has done the spey casting portion. Glenn Hall is a gear fisherman but does flyfish occasionally. The point is that where they gear fish, you could also flyfish. The location? Who knows? I wish I did. I'd enjoy getting into those browns on a 5 wt. Wouldn't you?
