I am headed to Vancouver, WA this weekend to help a buddy move from Seattle. I figured since i have a few days i should do some fishing. Just looking for any ideas,tips or reports from around the area. I was thinking of checking out the kalama, east fork lewis as those are the ones i have mostly heard of. I gotta check the regs and stuff and make sure to see whats open i know i know.

The shad won't get going until June, but there are fish in the Kalama and Washougal. Good luck, sent you a pm.

I am thinking of heading down to the lower Kalama, but have never fished the lower end. The tides are ok.

You might call Pritchards Store and find out what's happening. I think there should be some steelhead around.

With this rain the Kalama might be blown this weekend. Then again it might not depending on where the rain squalls are. Either way it should be bringing fish in to both rivers. Don't forget the springers in the kalama too! :thumb:
